These Terms of Use (“
Terms”) govern your access to and use of the
Mahdavia Academy website, any associated mobile or web applications, and all content, features, public forums, and services offered through them (collectively, the “
Platform”).
By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our
Privacy Policy, and any additional policies or guidelines published on the Platform from time to time (collectively, the “
Agreement”). If you do not agree to any part of this Agreement, you must not access or use the Platform.
Each learner is required to have an individual account in order to access the Platform and ensure accurate progress tracking and personalized learning.
Individuals aged thirteen (13) and above may independently create and manage their own accounts.
For learners under the age of thirteen (13), an individual account must be created and managed by a parent or guardian for compliance purposes. Each child must have a separate account, and the parent or guardian remains responsible for supervising the child’s use of the Platform and ensuring compliance with this Agreement.
2.2 Access by Learners Under 13
Learners under the age of thirteen (13) may access the Platform only through an individual account created and managed by a parent or guardian.
By creating the account for a child under the age of 13, the registering parent or guardian automatically represents and warrants that:
- They are the lawful parent or guardian of the child;
- They consent to the child’s participation and use of the Platform; and
- They accept full responsibility for supervising the child’s use of the Platform and ensuring compliance with this Agreement.
Mahdavia Academy does not independently verify parental status or consent and relies on the representations made at the time of registration.
2.3 Course-Level Age Suitability
We strive to curate courses for learners at different stages. Course descriptions may include general guidance on recommended age levels; however, such guidance relates only to content suitability and does not modify the account registration requirements set out in this Agreement. Parents and learners are encouraged to use their discretion when enrolling in courses.
2.4 Registration Information
To access Content, you may be required to provide your name, email address, and other basic information. You represent and warrant that:
- All information you provide is accurate and complete;
- You meet the eligibility requirements set out in this Agreement; and
- You will keep your information up to date.
3. Content Access, Enrollment, and Forums
When you enroll in or access Content, you may be granted access to Public Forums related to that Content. Participation in Public Forums is optional.
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to remove content, restrict access, or suspend or terminate accounts that violate this Agreement.
4. Supported Devices
Access to the Platform requires a compatible device and internet connection. Supported devices and system requirements may change over time, and we do not guarantee continued compatibility with all devices or operating systems.
5. License to Use the Platform
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Platform and Content for
personal, non-commercial educational purposes only.
You may not:
- Copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any Content or Creator Content;
- Publicly display or commercially exploit any materials;
- Attempt to reverse engineer or disrupt the Platform;
- Remove copyright or proprietary notices; or
- Share access credentials or materials with others.
This license terminates automatically upon violation of this Agreement.
6. User Communications, Content, and Feedback
If you submit, post, or share any content on the Platform (“Learner Content”), including comments, feedback, reviews, testimonials, or other communications (whether written, audio, or video), you represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to such content.
By submitting Learner Content, you grant Mahdavia Academy a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, and sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, display, and distribute such content in connection with operating, promoting, and improving the Platform.
This includes the right to use course feedback, reviews, or testimonials (in whole or in part) for educational, promotional, or marketing purposes. We may publish such testimonials with your first name and general information (such as age group or location), unless you request otherwise.
7. Communications and Announcements
By creating an account on the Platform, you agree to receive communications from Mahdavia Academy, including service-related and administrative messages necessary for the operation of your account and access to the Platform.
In addition, you acknowledge and agree that we may send you announcements, updates, newsletters, information about new courses, programs, features, events, and other Platform-related communications via email or other available communication channels.
You may opt out of receiving marketing or promotional emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link provided in such communications or by contacting us through the Contact Us form. Please note that even if you opt out of marketing communications, we may still send you essential service or account-related communications.
Where push notifications are enabled on your device, you may receive Platform-related notifications. You may manage or disable push notifications at any time through your device settings.
For accounts created and managed by a parent or guardian on behalf of a learner under thirteen (13), communications will be directed to the registered account holder.

. Code of Conduct
You agree not to use the Platform to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations;
- Post harmful, abusive, violent, hateful, defamatory, or discriminatory content;
- Harass, bully, or intimidate others;
- Engage in spam, scams, impersonation, or unauthorized access;
- Upload malware or interfere with the Platform’s operation.
- Violations may result in removal of content, suspension, or termination of access without notice.
9. Intellectual Property
All Platform materials, including Content and Creator Content, are the exclusive property of the Creator or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You acquire
no ownership rights through use of the Platform.
10. Feedback
Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you submit may be used by us without restriction or compensation, and you waive any rights in such feedback.
11. Payments, Fees, and Donations
At present, registration and access to Content is offered free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce paid Content in the future. Payments, if applicable, will be processed through secure third-party payment providers.
Donations made to support the Platform are voluntary and non-refundable unless otherwise stated and are processed through a secure third-party payment service.
12. Disclaimers
The Platform and Content are provided “as is” and “as available.” The Content is prepared with reasonable care and may incorporate scholarly guidance where applicable; however, Mahdavia Academy makes no warranties or guarantees regarding completeness, ongoing accuracy, availability, or suitability for any particular purpose.
Content Integrity Framework
Mahdavia Academy tries its best to follow a 3-Tier Content Integrity Framework:
- Foundational Alignment – Content is grounded in the Quran, Hadith, Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (SAWS), and authentic Mahdavia teachings, including the principles of Faraiz-e-Vilayath.
- Scholarly & Community Guidance – Content may incorporate scholarly input or community guidance where appropriate.
- Ongoing Refinement – Content may be updated, clarified, or refined over time to maintain accuracy and alignment.
While prepared with reasonable care, the Platform makes no representation that every course or content item has undergone a specific strict form of scholarly review. Hence, the Content is intended for
educational purposes only and does not replace personal religious guidance or legal rulings.
Learners are responsible for seeking clarification or guidance from their Murshid, Mufti, or another qualified religious authority, in accordance with the the following verse from the Quran:
“O you who have believed, obey Allah and obey the Messenger and those in authority among you. And if you disagree over anything, refer it to Allah and the Messenger, if you should believe in Allah and the Last Day. That is the best [way] and best in result.” (Quran 4:59)
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Creator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from use of or inability to use the Platform or Content.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Creator from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your use of the Platform or violation of this Agreement.
15. Third-Party Links
The Platform may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their content or practices, and access is at your own risk.
16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Creator’s home jurisdiction, without regard to conflict of law principles. You consent to exclusive jurisdiction in the courts of that jurisdiction.
17. Modifications and Miscellaneous
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of revised Terms. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. You may not assign this Agreement without our consent.
